About Bob's Locksmith

Who we are

Bob's Locksmith is a local, mobile locksmith company based in Seattle, WA. Since 2009 we've opened doors, cut and programmed car keys, and rekeyed and installed locks for homeowners, drivers, landlords and businesses across the city and the Eastside. There's no storefront to drive to — the van is the shop, and it comes to you anywhere in the Emerald City, Jet City, Rain City and Seatown — the 206 — and the surrounding Pacific Northwest (PNW), Puget Sound and King County communities.

We install and service hardware from Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, August, Baldwin, Ultraloq, Level, Medeco, Mul-T-Lock and the other manufacturers on our brands list.

How we work

• 24 hours a day. Phones are answered by a dispatcher, not a voicemail, every hour of every day including holidays.
• Free estimate first. You get a price range on the phone and a firm price from the technician before any work starts. No hidden fees, no "it turned out to be more".
• Non-destructive first. Lockouts are picked or bypassed whenever the lock allows it. Drilling is a last resort and we tell you before we do it.
• Everything on the van. Key cutting machine, programming tools, common lock hardware and cylinders, so most jobs finish in one visit.
• Licensed, insured, background-checked. Every technician shows ID on arrival and verifies that you own or have the right to enter the property or vehicle.
• Warranty. Hardware we install and keys we cut are guaranteed.

Discounts

Military discount for active duty and veterans on any service — mention it when you book. Every call includes a free estimate, and every residential visit includes a free security check of your exterior doors. We accept cash, all major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, Venmo and Cash App.
